We are excited to announce the release of our latest product update - a PIN debit solution for cannabis retailers!

We appreciate the challenges that cannabis businesses face regarding payment processing. Many financial institutions are still hesitant to work with the industry, making it difficult for dispensaries and other cannabis retailers to find a reliable and secure way to process transactions. That's why we have developed a PIN debit solution specifically tailored to meet the needs of cannabis businesses.

Our new payment solution allows your customers to pay for their cannabis purchases using a debit card and PIN, just like they would at any other retailer. Not only does this provide a more convenient and cashless payment option for your customers, but it also helps improve your dispensary's safety and security. 

Medical Patient Type Enhancements

1. Oklahoma Patient Type Updates
   • In customer profiles, we have added a new field for medical customer Patient Type that matches the types outlined by OMMA.
   • We have also added a new "caregiver" type that allows you to store the caregiver information and the patients whom the caregiver can purchase on behalf of. 
   • To make it easy for you to update your existing customers to the correct patient type, we have enabled a register alert that allows you to select and apply the correct patient type during checkout. 

2. Washington Patient Type Updates

   • You can now select whether a medical patient is a caregiver or a patient in a customer's profile.
   • In the "All Customers" report, you can identify if a customer is a medical caregiver or patient in the page list view rather than having to open the customer history modal. 

Bug Fixes 

1. Customer receipts include all items that were purchased in a transaction

   • We have resolved the issue that prevented certain items from appearing correctly on a customer's sale receipt.

2. Customer profiles no longer require you to enter a birthdate to be saved

   • Our team has fixed a bug that was preventing the date of birth required toggle from working correctly. With this fix, dispensary owners and managers can now choose whether or not to require customers to enter their date of birth during checkout.

3. Back Office product images are shown correctly
   • Images added to your products now display correctly in the product list and detail view pages. 

4. Employees are no longer prevented from earning loyalty points when making purchases

   • Employees now earn loyalty points at the register unless the "prevent employee loyalty" toggle is enabled

5. Transactions with partial returns can no longer be voided from the "Sale" modal

   • We have resolved the issue that allowed a sale with a partial return to be voided.

6. All Customers .csv export is named correctly

   • The downloadable .csv for All Customers has the correct report name in the title.
