On Monday, August 9th, 2021 KlickTrack will update the Back Office with the latest version, v2.3.3, and the latest Register App 2.3.3 will be available to download in the Apple Store.

KlickTrack version 2.3.3 includes improvements to search and hidden room workflows, as well as bug fixes for improved register and customer workflows, and more!

KlickTrack version 2.3.3 includes optimizations to help streamline your business. A large part of this update is focused on product reliability and fixes, as well as the improvements to search functionality to save you time, improvements to hidden room workflows on the Register, and more!

Improved Product Search

Improvements have been made to the Product Search feature, at both the register and in the back office. When searching products, KlickTrack now highlights character search results. This allows for faster navigation and visibility when searching for products.

In addition, KlickTrack now displays both Package and Purchase SKUs when searching barcodes to be more clear and concise.

Void Icon

The orange Void Icon is a new visual queue that has been added to both the Sales & Returns Filter and the individual Customer History reports. The new visual queue allows for voids to be more easily distinguished between sales and returns.

SKUs in hidden rooms not visible on Register unless scanned

Now when searching by a product name, barcodes will only appear if they are in a non-hidden room allowing your team to sell your sales stock first. The Register App will no longer display the barcodes in a hidden room when searching for the product name or barcode.

The only instance when a barcode can be sold from a hidden room is to locate this SKU by either scanning the barcode and/or click the red “Look Up” button on the search bar.

Once the hidden barcode is found, you will be presented with the option to adjust “+1” to the cart for sales. This will allow the sale of one of the SKUs from the hidden room. As with all +1 Inventory Adjustments on the register, this will require a manager override if configured within your App Settings. By selecting “+1”, the barcode will now be available in the search results in order to add one or more to your cart.

The hidden room where the SKU was pulled from will display within the cart next to “Location Set”. Once sold, the inventory in the hidden room will be adjusted by the quantity sold.

Update to the newest version of the Register to get these fixes & more:

Search for barcodes in hidden room from the Back Office
- Fix applied that allows products located in a hidden room to be searchable from the Back Office.
Selling products from a hidden room adjusts the quantity
- Fix applied that properly adjusts a product’s quantity if it is sold from a hidden room.
Non-standard barcode search
- Fix applied so barcodes with special characters can be utilized in various workflows.
Enhanced Loyalty Point Control
- Fix applied that doesn’t allow a customer to go into a negative with their Loyalty Point balance. Improved messaging tells you exactly why the sale cannot be completed.
Negative loyalty point balance won’t block sales
- Fix applied that does not block a sale if a customer has a negative loyalty point balance. This fix allows for those customers, in this extremely rare situation, to earn their points back.

If you have not done so already, please be sure to turn off auto-update on each of your iPads.
Download the Register app update PRIOR to the start of your day or AFTER your shift ends to prepare for the following day. Do NOT download app updates mid-shift.
