Everyone working in your dispensary has a role to play. In order to ensure the effective use of limited, valuable labor hours, it is critical to understand the capabilities and limitations of those important roles and how they work together. Implementing this understanding makes certain that your shop stands out from the crowd.

In KlickTrack, Budtenders and Cashiers have different permissions when it comes to operating a register or fulfillment device. For instance, a budtender-only role will not allow the user access to registers. Utilize these specific roles for ringing up sales, completing returns, or sales floor and pre-order fulfillment

Budtender

  • Can create a queue for fulfillment.
  • Can access fulfillment devices.
  • Can NOT access register. (User will get access denied error attempting to login to register)
  • Can NOT complete sales. (User will get access denied error attempting to view sales)
  • Can NOT do a return or view recent sales.
  • Can NOT add a drawer. (User will get access denied error if no drawer)
  • Can NOT add a device. (User will get access denied error if no device)
  • Can NOT access dashboard or inventory.

Cashier

  • Can create a new drawer.
  • Complete a return and view recent sales.
  • Can create a new queue, and open a queue.

  • Can finalize a sale at the register.
  • Can NOT create a device. (User will get access denied error if no device)
  • Can NOT access dashboard or inventory.

Note: Most budtender users will have both budtender and cashier roles selected. This will allow the user to log in and use an inventory device or a register.

Budtender & Cashier Combined Roles

  • Can create a queue for fulfillment.
