Our newest release includes bug fixes for discount stacking, cart discrepancies, and the KlickTrack menu. Additionally, we've made several improvements to our discount calculations and minor copy updates to our settings page. See below for more details. 

 

Bug Fixes

1. Cart discrepancies no longer occur on carts with multiple discounts and/or multiple discounted items.

With this release, we were able to address the calculation issues that sometimes caused discrepancies when you added multiple discounted items to a cart OR had multiple discount types applied to the cart, particularly if one of those products in the cart was a bulk flower product. 

 

2. Leaving an open register cart containing discounted products and returning to it no longer creates discrepancies at the register. 

You can now create a register cart with discounted products, leave the cart open while migrating to another section of KlickTrack and return to the cart without incurring a cart discrepancy. This includes creating new customers or adding customers to the cart, returning to the cart from the payment method screen, and returning to the cart from the back office. 

 

3. Edible product potency is displayed in mg in the KlickTrack menu.

We have resolved the issue that caused edibles, and other applicable products, to show their potency in percentages rather than mg. 

 

4. Products and/or sales for $0 cannot be discounted at the register. 

Products and/or sales that are $0 total can no longer have discounts - including loyalty discounts - applied to them at the register. While this bug did not create cart discrepancies at the register, it did create issues in Back Office reports by placing a NaN value into the sale total. 

 

Improvements

1. Bucket discount calculation adjustments for bulk flower products (Oklahoma only)

As part of our fixes, we have adjusted the bucket discount calculations for bulk flower products: 

 

• Item by Percent discounts is applied to the total gram price of a deli-style flower product. This calculation has not changed with this release. 

• Item by Amount and Item to Amount discounts are applied to the individual gram price of the deli-style flower rather than the total gram price.

In addition to adjusting the calculations, we have also added clarifying copy to the top of the Discount page that outlines how bucket discounts are applied to the bulk flower product. 

 

 

2. ACH App Setting copy update 

We have updated the copy for our ACH App Setting to clarify sign-up, surcharges, and API keys.
