Adjusting Product Cost

The Cost of your Product is always added to your Incoming Manifests. We've all been there - sometimes these details can be entered incorrectly and your team may need to update the cost.  Update all of your costs easily from the Product page.


 

Adjust Product Cost

From the KlickTrack Dashboard navigate to the Inventory Management section:

  1. Select Products.
  2. Enter the product SKU in the search bar.
  3. Select Package SKU.
  4. Select the SKU you would like to edit. 
  5. Select Adjust Cost at the bottom middle of your screen.
  6. Now you'll be able to adjust the Cost associated with the SKU.
  7. Enter the New Cost.
  8. Select Set Cost

 

Finding Missing Costs on the Cost of Goods Report

Entering a cost into KlickTrack is important for profit analysis and for compliance, especially in states like Washington where cost is required to submit sales to CCRS.  

  • Find missing costs on your products by using the Cost of Goods report. This report is a breakdown of your current on-hand inventory and includes details like Cost and Price. 
  • To easily find the products that are missing a cost, click on the "Cost" column title and this will sort the list by Cost:

 

 

Cost Adjustments Report

After a cost adjustment has been made, you will be able to find a record of that in the Cost Adjustments Report on the KlickTrack Dashboard. Utilize this report to track and record cost adjustments or conduct research into historical adjustments.
